Cockpit Floor

Overview

The cockpit floor consists of various wooden elements over which a carpet is laid. The reason why we use wood, apart from environmental aspects, is the original-like footfall sound that the floor generates.

By now at the latest, the floor should be in its final destination.

Prepare the bonding at the edges and in frequently used areas with double-sided adhesive tape.

Lay the carpet and cut off any excess carpet material cleanly at the edges.

If your floor has cable ducts, you should provide appropriate markings or holes in the carpet so that you can use the ducts later.
