Why transport packaging is so important

We pay a lot of attention to the packaging of our deliveries. When shipping over long distances, consignments often pass through global hubs. This means that they are often unloaded and reloaded. During this process, other objects are bumped into and the goods are scraped over bumps.

In addition, depending on the time of year, deliveries are also exposed to cold and moisture during interim storage. Packaging plays a major role in ensuring that all deliveries arrive safely and intact. Damage during transport is not only annoying, it also entails a lot of paperwork. Not to mention the delay for the customer.

Depending on the destination country and transport route, a complete simulator including its packaging can weigh more than 1.5 tonnes. Although the simulator itself only accounts for a small part of the weight.

Smaller orders naturally have smaller dimensions and weights when dispatched. Nevertheless, secure packaging remains fundamentally important.

This crate was transported via a station within a country. Pretty crazy, isn't it? Fortunately, the contents remained intact.
