Computers
Overview
The standard setup recommended by us includes two computers that are connected to each other via a router or switch.
- The Visual PC is responsible for the external display. It runs Prepar3D or the Microsoft flight simulator.
- The Avionics PC is exclusively responsible for the instruments.
This combination works particularly well with the A320 software from ProSim or alternatively the JeehellFMGS.
The use of two computers has the advantage that both the external display and the instruments work at high frame rates. The latter is particularly important for instrument flights.
While we always recommend two PCs for dual-seat cockpits, a single-seat cockpit can also be operated with one PC due to the smaller number of screens.

The computer packages we supply are always delivered in a 19" rack format and undergo strict tests in terms of cooling and long-term performance.
Monitors and Projectors
The projectors or monitors to be used depend on the respective configuration. We will be happy to advise you. Irrespective of this, we recommend one monitor per computer as a maintenance display.
Our computer packages are always supplied with one maintenance monitor per PC.
Cables
Only use high-quality cables, otherwise you will be buying twice! A cable length of 10 metres is the best choice in the vast majority of cases. Always use active USB cables for more that 3m distances.

Remote desktop software is installed on all systems and can be used by us for remote maintenance purposes on request.
