Pre-Assembly Guide

Introduction

The simulator is usually supplied in one or more large boxes. The better prepared you are for the delivery, the easier it will be to deal with the large amount of material later on.

The more structured your approach to assembly, the easier it will be for you to maintain an overview.

Checklist

  1. Check all parcels for damage and document any damage with photos. Please inform us immediately so that we can clarify any transport damage with our insurance company. We only ship with insurance.
  2. Use the packing list and assembly instructions to check whether the shipment is complete. If anything is missing, please contact us.
  3. Keep the packaging material. This is helpful in case you are looking for small parts later. With so much packaging material, it is easy to overlook them.
  4. Place the parts in a structured and organised manner near the installation site and make sure you have enough space to work.
  5. Make sure you have a good internet connection. Ideally via a LAN cable.
  6. Have tools and a stepladder ready.
  7. Ensure that there are sufficiently long power cables between the sockets and the desired location of the flight simulator.

Planning the power supply

Depending on the scope of your installation, you should check the available power supply in your room in advance. Our simulators are compatible with standard 220V and 110V power grids. A 400 V power connection is not required. However, you should make sure that your power connection has a modern fuse.

As a rule, a single power line is sufficient. If you also have projectors, a second separately fused line is advisable. We recommend the use of an inrush current limiter for weakly fused lines.
