Despite of the mandatory software you need to run a Premium A320 Flight Simulator there is a couple of additional software you can use to increase realism and flight experience. In this article we list some ideas for additional software you might like. This list is based on our personal experience without claim of completeness.
Orbx is a great source to improve your simulator visuals accros the entire globe. In other words. Orbx is more or less essential for every simulator. In addition you will find mamy add-on airports to improve your local scenery. We personally like the fact that all software comes with one central management software (Orbx Central) which makes installation and maintenance very easy.

Simmarket is a very big market place to find additional software. You can buy add-ons from different vendors in one central store. We personally like that you have all serial numbers and downloads in one single place.

Hifisimtech provides a software called Active Sky P3D. This add-on allows you to inject real weather into your simulator environment so that you can always fly under the current weather conditions. It also provides historical weather so you can recall interesting weather conditions any time.

It's a pleasure for us to promote our commercial customer Aero-Simulation by JetCity in France, near Paris-Orly. The simulator is located in the Delta Museum and mainly used for public activity.
"We are proud to use a VIER IM POTT simulator. Our customers are really impressed by the realism and quality of the shell. Most professional pilots express that it feels "like a real cockpit" when they fly with it. Congratulations to the VIER IM POTT team and thanks again."
- Pierre Letessier., France
The simulator is mainly used for public activity and it can also be adapted for handicap people using a wheelchair on boths sides. Some real pilots are in contact with Aero Simulation to use the sim as a private training device before their own exams. As they are located in the Delta Museam they can offer a visit of the famous concored after the flight.

It's a honour, to introduce the first VIER IM POTT Flight Simulator in the Seoul Simulation Center in South Korea.
The simulator has been pre-assembled in Germany. The final installation was done by the local team with remote support from us.
Congratulations - Good job!
Simulator on the picture is shown during a testflight...
We recently had a visit from a pilot team from Spain. It was really intersting to see how differently professionals test our products. Private customers usually intend to fly the aircraft perfectly. Commercial customers always try to brake the plane and do something they are not allowed in real simulators... :-)
Hi all,
Some customers have asked us for tricks on how to defeat the dust in a simulator without having to disassemble everything or damage the panels. So here's the way we do it.
First, we need to locate the vacuum cleaner in the house. With a furniture brush with very soft bristles (such as horsehair), the dust can be removed even from the smallest corners and the Sim looks like new again. In addition, this procedure does not take long and you can fly back quickly.
“We started in 2015 with the clear goal of building an A320 cockpit simulator for commercial use in Leipzig, Germany. At first we had to find a supplier for electrical parts and all required structural components. Ideally for a complete solution. Furthermore we needed a reliably partner who supports us and ensures that we can run our business continuously.
After some research we made contact with VIER IM POTT and after some kind email communication it became clear – we found the right partner for our project. On the pictures of their website everything looked very convincing and original but we wanted to see it in real before investing our money.
We took the chance to visit the production site in Dresden and we were quite impressed about quality of the cockpit components and the knowledge paired with enthusiasm of the VIER IM POTT team. All questions had been answered.
Once decision has been made we very excitingly looking forward to the delivery. Due to the distance to Dresden we picked up components ourselves and started building the simulator in Leipzig. As a very early customer we experienced some minor difficulties but the team was helping fast and solution oriented and we could clearly see that they wanted us to be successful.
