You assemble your sim according to our documentation and videos. You will only need some basic tools to assemble your simulator. All components are already painted or powder coated. You don not need to paint yourself. Electrical components are Plug & Play and can be wired with pre-configured and labelled cables. You can mix Cockpit Builder components with Premium Plug & Fly. But basically, the MIP stand with the glare shield is a good place to start. Next comes the pedestal and the side base. The overhead panel then completes the cockpit. Not all areas need to be fitted with all panels from the outset. Panels can also be added gradually. (Please note that not all panels work on their own). The most important thing is that you enjoy building it. Technically speaking, it's all doable. You basically only need standard tools. You don't need to know how to solder or paint to assemble it. The costs depend heavily on your own requirements, space and, last but not least, your budget. Beginners can start with individual components and later expand them into a complete cockpit. The cockpit hardware is essentially maintenance-free. With reasonably careful use, practically no costs are to be expected here. Software licences are optional, but it is sometimes worthwhile if you want to benefit from new features. There is no difference in quality. The main difference is that Premium Plug & Fly cockpits are assembled as far as possible before delivery. This saves time on site and is ideal for people who do not want to deal with technical details. However, they are slightly more expensive and shipping costs may also be higher due to their volume. In terms of dimensions, our products are very close to a real A320 cockpit. It absolutely feels like being in a real aircraft cockpit. Of course, there are differences in the details. However, these are usually only noticeable to real pilots. We always recommend a personal test in one of our showrooms. For a complete cockpit, we recommend two computers. One for the visual, i.e. the external display, and one for the avionics, i.e. the screens inside the cockpit. While the visual PC should have as much power as possible, the avionics PC can be a little simpler. There are various useful combinations. For complete cockpits, we generally recommend ProSim with Prepar3D or MSFS. Those who prefer to fly with X-Plane are well advised to choose ToLiss. For smaller cockpits with only one computer you can choose from Fenix, FSL and other options. We have a wide range of different models in our range. From the original size to partial cockpits and compact single-seat cockpits. That's why we always ask the opposite question: how much space do you have? If you send us your dimensions, we will be happy to make you a non-binding proposal. In short: there are no minimum sizes. We always find a solution. We never leave a customer alone after the purchase – that's a promise. We have a very friendly and personal relationship with many of our customers.
