The intercom system is already a central part of the communication system. On the one hand of course for ATC and corresponding services like VATSIM or IVAO. But also for the communication between the pilots. Until now, crew members who flew in the jump seat were excluded. They could neither listen to the radio nor participate in the conversation in the cockpit. With the new headset connector, this has now come to an end. ![](https://www.vier-im-pott.com/images/easyblog_articles/561/b2ap3_large_IMG_1737.jpg) The connector is aimed both at instructors simulating ATC and at companions who want to be in the middle of it instead of just there.
